Currently, the minds of GPFilms have been cooking up a new series of videos called "Movies from the Game Room". A sort of movie spotlight show, with the added benefit of spotlighting a table top role-playing game that compliments the movie. While we play host to the film, we also talk about the chosen RPG and give some details on the company, system, and play. So if you like older movies, and older games, this will definitely be something of interest.
As of right now, we are planning on attending several Indiana based conventions this year. On the books so far it InCONjunction 2018 at the beginning of July, possibly IndyPOPCON, and of course Gencon Indy. We will post dates before the shows if we are going to be able to make it. It is some ways away, so we need to make sure that those dates are available for all our hosts and DJ's. As everything gets closer we will be able to say for definite. All of them are good shows, and something we love to attend, so even if we can't make it you should go. We would love to see you there.
GPR, for some time now, has had a public option on this website that allowed people to join the page and discuss things in the public forum. However, due to the ever increasing amount of spam, bots, and other various unwanted items that crept into the page, we will be moving the discussion forum onto Facebook... So you will have access to all the facebook posts, live streams, and discussion all from the facebook page and the linked GPR group. Come on in and check it out... If you know any geeks, gamers, nerds, ect who would like to have a nice place to talk games... promote games... look for groups... and discuss random life events... please invite... We have a few rules here... No religion, No politics, and Play Nice... everything else is fair game... Link is up on the menu.
It's no secret... We love games; board games, roleplaying games, card games, video games, ect., we dig games. For some time, like many of you, we have been creating and cobbling together our own games to run in our groups. We have discussed amongst ourselves and decided that we should put some of them up here for others to enjoy and modify for their own games. Not all the games are polished like the ones you would get in your local store, but they do play for what we intended them for. So keep your eyes open, we will be posting a games page soon. The first game we are looking to post is a MET variant for a live action Call of Cthulhu game. So keep your eyes out.
