Conventions

InCONjunction 2018!!!

Gearing up for the first live convention appearance this year. We are taking it slow this year due to all the content we are working on for the new Roku channel, the podcasts, films, and more... but we are taking a break for a great local convention InConJunction 2018. It is their 38th year, and the second year for us to be in attendance in some fashion. This year we are broadcasting live from the con floor, and doing a live podcast event on Saturday afternoon at 3pm in the video room.

It is a cool local event, and tickets are really reasonable. Come see us live.

GenCon Indy Live Show

We officially are going to be live (ish) at GenCon this year. We will be recording a podcast live from the convention in front of a live studio audience.... hahah I have always wanted to say that. But this year it is true. Tickets will be available on May 6th, but you can check out the listing on the GenCon website. We will have some industry special guests who will talk about their new games and movies, as well as a rousing game of podcast bingo. Some of the items so far include a signed copy of Submerged: Echo 51, a few free cards from the new card game produced from the same title, Geek Magic 8 Balls, Cthulhu Mints, and a lot more.

So remember to check out the listing at the Gencon website.

Gen-Con post show updates

Well we are back from Gen Con 2016 with camera and bags loaded. It will take us a few days to get the footage out, the articles written, and the post mortem podcast out. It was a great show, and we already can't wait till next year (the 50th anniversary by the way). All the Con content is coming, however we are getting old and time is catching up with us. We hope you understand and will have it up soon.

Just some con tips before Gen Con

Well it is 21 days to Gen Con Indy. If you are like me, you are getting your things in order so that you can have a great con without rushing last minute. If not, then you should think about getting things started so that when it comes time you can just grab and go.

For those of you who are new to the convention scene, especially Gen Con, (and even some who have been a few times) we have a few tips that you may not have thought of when coming to the con.

First, a lot of people think that loading up on Vitamin C beforehand and keeping a stock of hand sanitizer is a good tip. Well, the benefits of vitamin C are debated… what isn’t debated is that if you don’t prepare for it, you will get sick during or after the show. Wash your hands and use sanitizer, and it will help the mid con crud stay away.
